We’ll take a look at their pricing, features, and customer service, so you can decide which one is best for you. Stay tuned.
Significance of Shiprocket:
You can take advantage of Shiprocket’s flat-rate pricing to get the best deal. In addition, Shiprocket sets a shipping fee for domestic and international deliveries, depending on which country you are in. This lets you focus more on marketing and other aspects of your business.
Shiprocket also offers discounts if you frequently ship with them; this is good because it minimalizes the amount you have to spend out of pocket each month, and it encourages your customers to order your products by giving them free or reduced rates for doing so: one discount per package, however, regardless of quantity ordered within each package (maximum 20% off). The best part about these discounts is that they apply automatically! No need to enroll; no forms to fill out! You just have to be a Shiprocket customer to take advantage of these discounts.
Significance of Vamaship Shipping
Vamaship is the largest shipping company based out of New Caledonia. On Earth, this would be like if a country were to have their own shipping company and grow powerful enough to rival companies such as Fedex, UPS, and DHL. The difference between these companies and Vamaship Shipping is that Vamasship ships all over the galaxy, not just in their solar system. Their hub is on the station known as “The Hub, “ situated between Earth and New Caledonia. It was initially set up for tourism reasons but has grown into a financial powerhouse that fuels both economies.
What are the differences between Shiprocket and Vamaship?
Both Shiprocket and Vamaship are popular eCommerce players in India. They focus mainly on delivering products internationally. Both companies have a good presence in the market and claim to be the best in Shipping & Logistics Management. But, if you compare both of them, it becomes clear that they have some differences that make them unique in their ways.
Both Shiprocket and Vamaship are a combination of various services, but when it comes to Shipping, they offer only one service, i.e., International Delivery. They do not provide other logistics solutions like local delivery (within India) or Domestic Express Shipping. However, both companies have warehouses in India & abroad, which allow you to store your products at ease for free for a certain period, which is helpful if you are a new eCommerce player or just starting out with international orders.
When it comes to Support, both the companies are very fast in responding to emails & phone calls, so you can get all your query resolved at the earliest possible way. For example, I ordered my product from Vamaship on 29th April, and they said it would take 25 days to deliver the product, but my product was delivered within 20 days, which is very impressive considering how complex & regulated process International Delivery has become now.
Prices of Shiprocket and Vamaship:
Their pricing policies are also quite competitive. Although both offer Free Shipping Worldwide for orders above $49 (or Rs. 3000) in India, which is the best possible deal you can get as an eCommerce player. Also, follow-up services like Return Charges or Pick-Up Facility are available with both of them at nominal costs.
However, when it comes to Parcel Tracking, Vamaship’s policy of showing only ‘out for delivery’ status does not help much because most people want to see where their products are at the time of delivery or during transit which is not possible with Vamaship. At least, according to their website, I could not find any option of tracking my product even though it was already in India and they were trying to deliver it locally (Ahmedabad).
Shiprocket offers both ‘Parcel Tracking’ & ‘Tracking History.’ Also, if you buy your products from Shiprocket on Cash On a Delivery basis, there is no extra charge involved, so you can get things delivered for free on COD. However, Vamaship charges Rs. 100 for cash on delivery orders. Another difference between both companies is that while Shiprocket provides only International Delivery, Vamaship also offers Domestic Express along with International Delivery options.
Conclusion:
Shiprocket and Vamaship are two of the most popular shipping companies in India.
- Both companies offer similar services, but there are a few key differences that set them apart.
- Shiprocket is better for small businesses, while Vamaship is better for larger businesses.
- Overall, Shiprocket is the better choice for most businesses.
